We are happy to announce our 2024 mission in Mexico. We will be serving the picturesque seaside community of Todos Santos, Baja California – which is in the southwest part of the Baja California. We served in this same community in 2019 and it was one of our most popular missions. This area is in great need of eye care and we will have a primary focus of serving the children in the community. It is going to be an amazing, fun, and rewarding adventure.

The mission will occur inclusive of May 18 (Saturday) to May 26, 2024 (Sunday). We will fly into San Jose del Cabo (SJD), which will allow us to take advantage of the lowest priced airfares to Baja.

Among other locations (tbd), some of us will be lodging at the beautiful Los Colibris Casitas, a small resort located on a bluff overlooking the beach. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included. Special dietary needs will be accommodated.

We will conduct our free eye care clinic from Monday to Thursday. This will allow us to have a few days off to explore and relax.

The project donation fee for the mission is $900 per volunteer. Please note that all of your project donation is used to fund program and project activities. Sight is a Right has no paid staff. Your project donation and airfare are tax deductible as allowable by law.

Included are:

  • 8 nights lodging in Todos Santos

  • All meals in Todos Santos from dinner on May 18 through breakfast on May 26, with the exclusion of lunch on Friday, May 24 and Saturday May 25

  • In country transportation to and from clinic

  • A US$1,000,000 travel medical insurance policy (coverage may be less dependent upon age)

  • All project overhead expenses

  • All clinic materials including reading, sun, and prescription glasses (you may be asked to help carry supplies)

  • 2 team t-shirts

Not included are:

  • Airfare to and from San Jose del Cabo (we are traveling off season so airfares will be low)

  • In country transportation to and from the airport (Approx. $25 each way, although this will likely be covered by our hosts)

  • Special beverages and excursions

  • Gratuities
