Montego Bay, Jamaica

Through our partnership with the Great Shape! Inc. iCARE program, we will be serving rural communities in Jamaica providing health screening, complete eye care exams, and glasses. We also plan to perform cataract & MIG surgery, and PRP Diabetic Retinopathy & SLT Glaucoma laser procedures.

We will be lodging at the fun, all-inclusive Sandals Montego Bay. Volunteers purchase their roundtrip airfare to Norman Manley Airport (MBJ) and pay a project fee of $875 which covers up to 9 nights (includes meals, drinks, resort activities, & in-country transportation). Space is limited.

Colombia, South America

April 18 – April 27, 2026

We are excited to announce our Colombia 2026 mission to Colombia, South America. We will be serving the people of Cali and Tuluá. These areas greatly need help with eye care and are thrilled that we are coming to serve.

The mission will occur inclusive of our in-country dates of April 18 (Saturday) to April 27, 2026 (Monday). We will fly into Alfonso Bonilla Aragon International Airport (CLO). We will lodge at the tallest building in Cali, the picturesque Torre de Cali Plaza Hotel with unparalleled, panoramic views of the city.

We will conduct our free eye care clinics over two days from Monday, April 20 to Tuesday, April 21 in Tuluá. We will then serve for three days from Wednesday, April 22 to Friday, April 24, in the town of Cali. We will also enjoy fun excursions on Saturday and Sunday, April 25 and April 26.

No need to worry about getting stuck in traffic since we will be provided with police escorts to whisk us through town. They will also provide security throughout our stay.

The project donation for this mission is only $975 per volunteer. Please know that all of your donation is used to fund program and project activities, equipment, and supplies. Sight is a Right is an all-volunteer organization with no paid staff. Your project donation and airfare are tax deductible as allowable by law.

Included are:

  • Up to 9 nights lodging from Saturday, April 18 to Monday, April 27. You may shorten this to as little as 7 nights if necessary (Saturday to Saturday), but you will miss out on our Saturday and Sunday excursions.
  • All meals from breakfast on Saturday, April 18 to breakfast on Monday, April 27, excluding lunch on excursion days. (special dietary needs will be accommodated).
  • Airport transfers to and from the hotel.
  • In country transportation for all included events, including excursions.
  • Up to a US$1,000,000 travel medical insurance policy (US$50,000 for those 64 and older).
  • All project overhead expenses.
  • All clinic materials including medications, reading, sun, and prescription glasses (you may be asked to help carry supplies).
  • Team t-shirts.

Not included are:

  • Airfare to and from Alfonso Bonilla Aragon International Airport (CLO).
  • Special beverages, extra food, and excursion costs (other than transportation).
  • Gratuities.
