Happy new year!
2025 was a great year for Sight is a Right. We served for the first time in Africa (Kasese, Uganda), which was eye opening and impactful. We also served in Exuma & Nassau, Bahamas; Saint Vincent and the Grenadines; and Greenland, Jamaica. Sadly, we were unable to complete our last week in Falmouth & Montego Bay, Jamaica, which included cataract surgery, MIG surgery, PRPs, and SLTs, due to the devastation of Hurricane Melissa.

In 2025 we provided free of cost:
- 9,064 eye exams
- 65 PRP laser procedures for diabetic retinopathy
- 059 custom prescription glasses
- 4,902 reading glasses
- 7,019 sunglasses
- 2,975 health screenings
- Tens of thousands of dollars in medications, especially for glaucoma

The total value of goods and services for this work in 2025 is valued at US$2,800,815. We are able to achieve this impact with the commitment of our 142 volunteers and all of our many supporters. We are humbled at the number of lives that can be changed by our small teams. Not just of those of our patients, but by extension all those that they will touch throughout their lives.

Our operating overhead for goods and services delivered is only 1.6%. This means that 98.4 cents of every dollar spent goes directly to provide goods and services to fund our missions.
