Sight is a Right had a very successful 2024, conducting four clinics in the countries of Mexico, Grenada, and Jamaica. We partnered with Great Shape! Inc. iCARE in the West Indies, and served a total of 7,551 patients.

We performed:
- a record 57 cataract surgeries
- 27 MIG (glaucoma) surgeries
- 28 PRP laser procedures for glaucoma
- 3,198 health screenings for diabetes and hypertension
We distributed:
- large quantities of medications, especially for glaucoma
- a record 2,920 pairs of new prescription glasses
- 5,253 new reading glasses
- 8,959 new sunglasses
The total value of goods and services for all of this outreach is conservatively estimated at US$3.595 million. This is possible because of the support and spirit of our donors and especially our amazing 182 volunteers who served with us in 2024.

As always, we are humbled by our impact given our modest resources. That’s because all Sight is a Right personnel are unpaid volunteers. We operate at an overhead of less than 1.5% - where 98.5 cents of every dollar spent goes directly to goods and services.
